ABOUT US
"SAMPARK (REGD. SOCIETY)" is an
Indian National Organisation, started with mutual effort of some
students of Delhi University. Our aim is to provide Sport & Education
facility for economically backward children of society, simultaneously
also we are working for widow welfare, this project is not fully
function but effort is going on.
At present Children's Welfare (Education & Sports) project is fully functional in Delhi and consistently working since year 2006. It's started its function in Delhi with 13 members of 10 States of India. It was registered on May 31st 2007.
VISION
Organisation's vision is to provide basic learning (Education & Sports) to economically backward children & widows of the society to make them self reliance.
MISSION
It includes consistent support of Society-Members & Volunteers to work for welfare of society without any personal benefit under the norms of Organisation.
CENTERS
Presently Organisation has nine centers in Delhi (Mukherjee Nagar, Polo Ground, Delhi University, Delhi School of Economics, CRP Camp Khajuri, Lalbagh, Jahangirpuri, Majnu ka Tila & Ramjas College). Strengths of Children is approx. 300 & widows are approx. 450 in Delhi. Currently our centers are in slums area of Delhi, where we have reach of our society members & some volunteers. We are looking of more no. of volunteers to open some new centers in Delhi & to support these children in all aspect.
TARGET PEOPLE
People of Slums & Rural areas (They may or may not have permanent residence) & government's facility are not available to get education and to fail to solve the basic problem of children. We are continuously doing effort to create awareness in backward areas, where people are not aware about significance of education.
PERFORMANCE
Children are getting proper training by trainers of our society members & some volunteers; we incorporate with education, communication skill, cultural activity & sports. We groom them by motivating with several live examples of successful people who were not known & were poor earlier. After successful training every year many children are getting admission in good schools of Delhi & becoming career oriented.
SCOPE
Few more centers are about to come in Delhi. Strengths of Children in Delhi will reach to 900 approx. Target States (Rural Areas) are UP, Uttranchal, HP, J&K, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Maharastra with approx. 5 Centers per state as per availability of resources. In future, there is no problem to handle many centers in different state because this Organisation has sufficient member in different state of India.
CHALLENGES
As we are trying to open centers in many state & trying to achieve this target in next five years, which will require full dedication of its members, social support and requirement of adequate resources. As Organisation has to cover all aspect of education & sport hence we always have challenge of selection of children, a ground to play them, hostel, food and other facility too. At present we don't have adequate resources as required, but we are trying to achieve it soon, hence we are also looking of more no of volunteers who can provide required support to the Organisation.
